Ondo 2024: PDP Candidate, Agboola Ajayi Names Rep Member, Festus Akingbaso As Running Mate

Ahead of the November 16, 2024 governorship election in Ondo state, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Agboola Ajayi, has named House of Representative member, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon Festus Akingbaso as his running mate.

This was confirmed in a statement by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Kennedy Peretei on Sunday.

The lawmaker was a former House of Assembly member who represented Idanre constituency.

This development comes ahead of the June 18, 2024 deadline for the substitution of names of candidates for the election as stipulated by the independent national electoral commission (INEC)
