Osun 2026: Thousands Of Youths Rally Behind AMBO As Iwo Federal Constituency Holds Historic Walk To Win

A wave of political enthusiasm swept across Iwo Federal Constituency on Saturday as more than 10,000 youths reportedly participated in the “Walk to Win” solidarity rally in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
The rally, which began at LA Grammar School, Iwo, saw thousands of supporters march through major streets of the ancient town, chanting campaign slogans, waving party flags, and displaying banners expressing support for AMBO’s 2026 governorship ambition.
The event drew participants from the three local government areas that make up the federal constituency—Iwo, Ayedire, and Ola-Oluwa—highlighting what organizers described as growing grassroots support for the APC candidate ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
The peaceful procession transformed major roads into a sea of supporters dressed in campaign attire, as residents watched the colourful march that organizers said symbolized the determination of young people to rally behind AMBO’s vision for the development and prosperity of Osun State.
Speaking after the event, the Organizing Committee expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, volunteers, security agencies, media partners, and all participants for their contributions toward the successful conduct of the rally.
According to the committee, the turnout reflects increasing enthusiasm among youths for AMBO’s candidacy and marks the beginning of a sustained grassroots mobilization campaign across the state.
The organizers reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying support for the APC candidate, declaring that the journey toward the 2026 governorship election has gathered significant momentum.
