NIPR Sets Oct. 3 For Nationwide WPRF Abuja 2026 Road Show

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, has fixed Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, for a nationwide state level road show ahead of the World Public Relations Forum, WPRF Abuja 2026.

The new date was contained in a Sept. 22 memorandum signed by Chief Uzoma Onyegbadue, fnipr, Registrar and Secretary to Council, NIPR.

According to the memorandum, the date followed a consultative meeting between the Presidency and the leadership of NIPR chapters on the proposed road show. The exercise will take place simultaneously across the country.

NIPR said the chairmen of its chapters in the Federal Capital Territory, Rivers, Abia, Lagos and Bauchi states had been designated to coordinate preparations and activities within their respective zones.

The institute also directed the National Planning Committee for WPRF Abuja 2026 to recognise the three best performing chapter outings and an Emerging Chapter based on performance, creativity and commitment to the exercise.

The memorandum said arrangements and guidelines contained in an earlier Sept. 16 communication would remain in effect and continue to guide preparations for the road show.
