COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Confirms 322 New COVID-19 Cases, As Death Toll Exceeds 1,000

Nigeria now has 1,002 confirmed COVID-19 deaths, out of the 52,227 confirmed cases in the country with the latest 322 cases recorded on Sunday.

This figure was revealed in a tweet on the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday night, Nigeria now has a total of 52,227 infected patients, with 38,945 discharged, while 1,002 deaths have been recorded across the nation.

The latest 322 records released by the NCDC, Lagos State top the list of infections with 130 new cases, Bauchi State follows with 36 new cases while FCT came third with 25 new cases recorded on Sunday. A total of 18 states including FCT record new case.
