The Federal Government has reaffirmed its readiness to work closely with young Nigerians to advance peace, unity, and national growth, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to a press statement signed by Segun Imohiosen, Director, Information & Public Relations, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, CON, gave the assurance on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, during a courtesy visit by the Niger Delta Progressive Youth Leadership Foundation (NDPYLF) to his office in Abuja.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary overseeing the General Services Office, Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma, the SGF said:

“The Tinubu-led administration is ready to engage the youth in promoting peace and unity in the country. True development requires peace to thrive.”

He added that the Office would work with relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), as well as the private sector, to empower youths through access to opportunities and a conducive environment that will enable them to contribute meaningfully to the country’s economic advancement.

In his remarks, Chief Diplomat Adam Ogomugo Marbo, National President of NDPYLF, pledged the organisation’s commitment to mobilising young Nigerians across the six geo-political zones to promote unity, peace-building, leadership development, and youth empowerment for sustainable progress.
