2023: APC Leaders, Others Dumps Party, Join PDP In Ondo

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, some leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo West have defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with their teeming followers.

Leading the decampees, Hon. Christopher Akinsebokan, who was a supervisor for health in Ondo West, said the APC has failed them in all ways and they can no longer trust such people with power in Ondo kingdom any more

He pledged their support for Dr Felix Kehinde, the PDP candidate for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency and Akinjiyan Akinola, the PDP House of Assembly candidate for Ondo West constituency 2.

Receiving the decampees, Hon. Wahab Bello and Hon. Aliyu said they were elated to welcome the bigwigs from APC to PDP and assured them of the party’s commitment to equity and fairness, which they said is clearly lacking in APC

Another PDP stalwart, Hon. Ayoola described Hon. Akinsebokan as a philanthropist who has a listening ears and accommodating spirit and that the party is happy to receive them.
