COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Confirms 58,460 Infections, Records 136 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria has now confirmed 58,460 COVID-19 cases, with the new 136 cases recorded on Monday night

According to a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 49,895 patients have now been discharged after treatment, out of the total 58,460 cases recorded, while 1,111 deaths have been recorded so far across Nigeria.

The tweet also revealed that Lagos state has the highest number of new infections on Monday with 71 cases, Rivers State following with 23 cases while Plateau State came third with 12 cases. A total of 13 states including FCT recorded new cases on Monday.
