COVID-19 Update: Nigeria’s Infections Risen To 55,456, With 296 New Cases Confirmed On Tuesday

Nigeria has now confirmed 55,456 COVID-19 cases, with the new 296 cases recorded on Tuesday night
According to a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 43,334 patients have now been discharged after treatment, Nigeria has recorded no death in the last 24 hours as death toll remains at 1,061 across the country.
The tweet revealed that Plateau State had the highest number of infections on Tuesday with 183 cases, Lagos State follow with 33 new cases while FCT came third with 25 cases. 15 states including FCT recorded new cases on Tuesday.
