COVID-19 Update: Total Infections In Nigeria Rise To 56,017, 188 New Cases Confirmed On Friday

Nigeria has now confirmed 56,017 COVID-19 cases, with the new 188 cases recorded on Friday night

According to a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 43,998 patients have now been discharged after treatment, as death toll rises to 1,076 across the country.

The tweet also revealed that Lagos State had the highest number of infections on Friday with 47 new cases, Enugu State follows with 25 new cases while Plateau State came third with 21 cases. 19 states including FCT recorded new cases of the 118 cases recorded for Friday.
