COVID Update: Nigeria Confirms 197 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Now 55,829

Nigeria has confirmed a total of 55,829 COVID-19 cases, with the new 197 cases recorded on Thursday. The records as posted by NCDC revealed that Nigeria has 1075 deaths recorded so far.
These figures were revealed in the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Thursday night.
The new record revealed that Nigeria now has a total of 55,829 infected patients, with a total of 43,810 patients discharged, while 1075 deaths have been recorded across the nation.
The latest record released by the NCDC revealed that Plateaau State top the list of infections on Thursday with 83 new cases, while Lagos and Kaduna state came second and third respectively with 48 and 17 new cases recorded for Thursday.
