Election Update: Ondo Ex-Information Commissioner, Ojogo, Wins Rep Seat, Defeat Another Incumbent

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that a former Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State, Hon Donald Ojogo of the APC, has won the Ilaje / Ese-Odo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Ojogo defeated the incumbent, Hon Kolade Akinjo, who was seeking a third term in the National Assembly.

Ojogo polled 26,306 votes to defeat Akinjo who had 22,390.
