INSECURITY: Father, Son Abducted In Abuja By Unknown Gunmen

Unknown gunmen has abducted a man and his 11 year-old son in the early hours of today, at Chekaquerry layout in Kubwa, Abuja

The man was taken away at about 12am, Friday morning, in an operation that lasted for over an hour.

A resident of the area whose name will not mentioned, who spoke with Our Reporter, said the armed men came in numbers, he said they are about 25 of them and black kitted, shooting sporadically for over an hour b4 they left with their victim.

Reports gathered at the scene of the incident shows that they went away with food stuff, phones and household items but left the man’s wife. It could not be confirm if it was a targeted operation because other residents were not attacked during the operation.

As at the time of filing this report, no news on the whereabout of the man and his son, neither have they place any ransom demand on the family for their release.
