Ondo 2020: Hausa Community Declares Support For Jegede

The Hausa community in Odigbo LGA at a meeting with the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju today declared their support for the Eyitayo Jegede SAN’s candidature ahead of the October 10 governorship election, Daily Metro News has gathered.

The declaration was made at a meeting in Ore, Odigbo LGA on Wednesday, 9th September, 2020.

Addressing the group, Gboluga described them as liberal and friendly with business acumen worthy of emulation even as he thanked them for contributing to the development of Ondo state. 

Gboluga noted that since the inception of the Akeredolu’s led administration, Ondo State’s economy has continued to degenerate as witnessed in the increase in price of goods and services in the State. Hence, the need to utilize their voting powers in favour of the most viable alternative, PDP.

He assured them that Jegede’s government is poised to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and as well revive the agricultural sector in the state.

He said “My Principal has promised to make education, health care services and other social amenities affordable and accessible to everyone if elected.

Gboluga’s entourage thereafter proceeded to the Seriki of Hausa community’s palace to pay homage where he received his blessings.
