Ondo 2024: Youth Groups Declare Support For Oke To Succeed Akeredolu As Governor

A coalition of youth and student groups in Ondo state, on Friday, pledges their support for the governorship aspiration of Chief Olusola Oke, SAN.

Oke, is consolidating his strength as he prepares to take over from Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, under the flagship of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The , drummed the support in a statement in Akure, the state capital, the coalition’s support was contained in the statement issued by Amure Sunday, a youth advocate and former Aspirant of NACAS.

Amure said; “The Ondo youths have accepted the candidate of Olusola Oke, and have set machinery in motion through its structures across the state to deliver him at both the APC primary and win the race to become Governor”

The youths describe Oke as a true party man who would run an inclusive government to benefit Ondo people.

The group said that Oke’s momentum is thus unstoppable and his influence uncontainable to the growth and development of Ondo state’s economy, statement reads.
