Owa 45th Coronation Anniversary: Akinyelure, Adefisoye, Akinseye-George, Others Honoured At Abuja Fundraising Dinner

The Idanre Northern Descendants Union has honoured some of their kinsmen with Certificate of Service to Idanre Kingdom during the Owa 45th Coronation Anniversary Fundraising Dinner held in Abuja on Sunday.
Presenting the award, INDU Pro-tem Chairman, Dr. Jasper Olusayero said the selection was based on those who attained a particular position first as an Idanre person and doing well in developing the kingdom and who is currently representing us at the National Assembly.
He then presented the first award to the Chairman, Owa 45th Coronation Anniversary Committee, Dr. Anthony Omolola for his excellent and exceptional Leadership quality in coordinating the anniversary committee since it was inaugurated in March this year. He has been at the top of his game and works round the clock to ensure a successful outing come December.
Dr. Anthony Omolola then presented other awards starting with the first Senator in Idanre, Dist. Sen. Ayo Akinyelure, fca, for his service to Idanre Kingdom and also on a push to have a Federal higher institution in Idanre. He eulogised him for his numerous contribution to Idanre Kingdom.
Receiving the second award, the member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye, was recognised for representing the Kingdom well at the Green Chamber. His numerous projects and empowerment program were duly acknowledged and appreciated.
Prof. Yemi Akinseye-George, SAN, was recognised as the first Idanre person to have being elevated to the prestigious legal stage of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He has since been helping different persons in support program to develop in their chosen careers.
The first Idanre Born to have attained the level of Major General in the Nigeria Army and the former Theater Commander, Operation Lafia Dole, Maj. Gen. Benson Akinroluyo. He was also appreciated on his roles identifying with Idanre people and his kind support all this while.
Responding on behalf of other awardees, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, thanked all members of Idanre Northern Descendants Union for honouring them and recognising their little effort in developing Idanre Kingdom. They said the recognition is a call for them and other well to do Idanre sons and daughters to give back to their origin. It is also a wake up call for everyone to note that nothing is hidden in whatever you do.
