UPDATED: Anxiety as Sunday Igboho’s Extradition Hearing Begins In Benin Republic

Tension on the rise at the premises of a Benin Republic Court, venue of the extradition hearing of the embattled Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho.
In a report by the Nation online, the Cour d’Appel began hearing Thursday afternoon.
Large supporters of Sunday Ighoho besieged the court premises to catch a glimpse of him and his wife, Ropo.
The National Chairman of Ilana Omo Oodua, Prof Wale Adeniran, said: “He is in court with his wife. Hearing will commence shortly”.
Prof. Adeniran has since declared his support for Ighoho, saying his actions is not against the law.
Hearing is currently ongoing at Benin as his (Sunday Ighoho) supporters have refused to leave the court premises.
