UPDATED: EFCC Arrests Obiano Hours After Handing Over At Lagos Airport

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested immediate past Anambra state Governor, Willie Obiano at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

Obiano was reportedly arrested at about 8.30pm Thursday night on his way to Houston, Texas in the United States.

The former Governor was arrested hours after he handed over to Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo as Anambra Governor.

EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren confirmed the arrest to newsmen
