Adeboye, Buhari Met Behind Close Door at the Aso Villa

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on Monday afternoon met behind closed door with the General Overseer Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, and Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, also joined the meeting, which lasted for about an hour.

NAN report that the agenda of the meeting between the President and the RCCG, GO was still unknown as at the time of filing this report.

Adeboye had in 2017 visited the president in London, when he was then on medical vacation.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a Pentecostal megachurch and denomination founded in Lagos with millions of followers.
