BREAKING: Nigeria Records New 298 COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Exceeds 49,000

Nigeria has confirmed a total of 49,068 COVID-19 cases, with the new 298 cases recorded on Sunday. The records as posted by NCDC revealed that Nigeria about to enter 1,000 deaths if casualties increase in the next few days the current 975 deaths recorded.

NCDC revealed these figures in a tweet in the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday night, where a total of 36,497 patients has reportedly been discharged, with 11,596 active patients still at isolation centres across the nation.

In the latest record released by the NCDC, Plateau State top the list of infections for the second time in the week with 108 new cases, while Kaduna and Lagos came second and third with 49 and 47 new cases respectively.
