COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Confirms 138 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Now 53,865

Nigeria has now confirmed a total of 53,865 COVID-19 cases, with the Sunday’s 138 cases recorded. The records as posted by NCDC revealed that Nigeria has 1,013 deaths recorded so far.

These figures were revealed in the official Tweet of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Sunday night.

The new record revealed that Nigeria now has a total of 53,865 infected patients, with a total of 41,513 patients discharged, while 1,013 deaths have been recorded across the nation.

The latest record released by the NCDC revealed that Plateau State top the list of infections of Thursday, with 55 new cases, while Lagos State came second with 15 cases, Oyo and Ebonyi state tie on third position with 11 new cases recorded each for Sunday.
