COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Confirms 160 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Now 53,477

Nigeria has now confirmed 53,477 COVID-19 cases, with the new 160 cases recorded on Friday night

According to a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 41,017 patients have now been discharged after treatment, Nigeria has recorded no death in the last 24 hours ass death toll stands at 1,011 across the country.

The tweet also revealed that Plateau State had the highest number of infections on Friday night with 44 cases, with Lagos State follow with 27 cases while Katsina State came third with 18 cases. A total of 15 states including FCT recorded new cases on Friday.
