COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Confirms 213 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Exceeds 58,000

Nigeria has now confirmed 58,062 COVID-19 cases, with the new 213 cases recorded on Friday night

According to a tweet by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 49,606 patients have now been discharged after treatment, Nigeria has recorded 1,103 deaths across the country.

The tweet also revealed that Lagos and Plateau State had the highest number of infections on Friday night with 51 cases each, with FCT follow with 29 cases while Rivers State came third with 18 cases. A total of 17 states including FCT recorded new cases on Friday.
