COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Records Highest Daily Deaths With 21 Casualties, As Recoveries Nears 43,000

Nigeria has confirmed a total of 54,588 COVID-19 cases, with the new  125 cases recorded on Thursday. The records as posted by NCDC revealed that Nigeria has its highest daily deaths with 21 casualties recorded in 24 hours.

These figures were revealed in the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Thursday night.

The new record revealed that Nigeria now has a total of 54,588 infected patients, with a total of 42,627 patients discharged, while 1,048 deaths have been recorded across the nation.

The latest record released by the NCDC revealed that Lagos State returns to top the list of infections of Thursday, with 42 new cases, while FCT and Katsina state came second and third with 25 and 14 new cases recorded respectively for Thursday.
