Jegede Submit IKengboju As His Running Mate Ahead Of INEC Deadline

Ahead of August 18 submission deadline set by INEC for substitution of names of governorship candidates and deputies that will represent each political party at the October 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo state, the PDP governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, has finally settled for member of the 9th House of Representative, Hon. Ikengboju Dele Gboluga.

Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju, a House of Representatives member, who is representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency will now replace his SLA, Olumide Ogunje who was earlier submitted by Mr Jegede, Daily Metro News NG can gather.

Announcing his new running mate on his Twitter page, Mr Jegede wrote:

“In the task of rebuilding the confidence of our people in their government and in restoring hope for a better life under a @OfficialPDPNig administration in Ondo State, and following extensive consultations with leaders of our party, I am pleased, to announce that Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju will be working with me in seeking your mandate in the October 10, 2020 governorship election.

“We will also work with other notable leaders of our great party in different capacities. In this regard, we salute the commitment, conviction, support and understanding of all the aspirants and other leaders of our party. God our help!”, he said
