The Pro-Akeredolu protesters carried various placards urging the Governor to stand to his words and not to back down on his directive.

The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Comrade Jacob Adejo, said commercial drivers were no longer safe in the state.

Adejo lament that his members need protection from government because herders attacked them regularly with impunity as well as kidnapped them before now.
