The newly inaugurated Executive Chairman of Idanre Local Government, Hon. Prince Kayode Aroloye pays his first official visit to the Owena local government.
It was a joyous welcome as all staff of the local government troop out to receive the new head of the council.
In his welcome address, Aroloye thanked the people of Idanre for their support before, during and after the elections.
Aroloye said, “I am most grateful to God Almighty for preserving on lives, I appreciate the support of our state leader and Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, our party chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, I thank all our leaders at the local government, those present and absent, I sincerely appreciate your support.”
He added that, “this is a collective work in progress, my Vice-Chairman and I can not do it alone, our Councillors can not do it alone, please let us work together.
“In a couple of days, we will inaugurate our Councillors and by that time, we will have a more robust interaction and I will roll out my developmental plans, and we will spring into actions towards a new Idanre.
“Thank you and God bless you all.” Aroloye concluded.
The Director of Local Government, DLGA, Mr Olajide I.O, appreciate God for the new chairman and pledge maximum support for him and his team.
In his words, “Idanre people are lucky to have someone like Prince Aroloye as chairman, therefore, on behave of the entire staff of the local government, we welcome the chairman on his assumption of office and we pledge our total loyalty to him and his vice. We will join hands together to build an enviable local government administration.”
